Payment
Can I change or cancel my order?
We’re happy to help with any order inquiries, including cancellations and modifications. Contact us, including your order number, and we’ll respond within 1-2 business days.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Catch, Afterpay, JCB, PayPal, and Argent-issued gift cards. We also accept prepaid credit cards if the card has a billing address attached to it. We can’t split payments between credit cards. Orders are subject to review.
What currency is the site in?
All prices are in US dollars.
Shipping
When will my order ship?
Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing.
Where does your clothing ship from?
Most orders ship from New York, NY.
What are my shipping options?
We currently offer standard USPS or UPS Ground, 5-7 business days (or sooner, depending on your proximity to the shipping location). Orders over $75 qualify for free shipping, and a $5 shipping charge is applied to orders $75 or under.
What about expedited shipping?
At this moment we are not offering rush or expedited shipping at checkout, but if you have an urgent need please contact us and we can assess on a case-by-case basis.
Where do you ship?
Currently, we ship within the contiguous United States and are unable to ship to PO boxes, APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.
Do you ship internationally?
As of now we do not.
My Account
Why should I create an account?
Registering for an Argent account saves time and makes your life easier with quicker checkouts, easier returns, and access to your full order history. An account also allows you to access and spend reward points, which are earned with every purchase. Create an account now.
How do I track my orders?
- Sign in to your Argent account.
- Go to the 'Track or Edit Your Order' page.
- Enter the tracking number (you’ll find that in your confirmation email).
Rewards
What is Argent’s rewards program?
The program is simple: sign up, shop, earn, redeem.
How do I earn points?
Actions like purchases, reviews, and even birthdays all earn points. See our rewards page for all qualifying ways to earn. For purchases, points are awarded when the order fulfills.
How do I use my points towards purchases?
Redeeming your hard-earned points is easy. Add items to your cart as you normally would, make sure you’re logged into your account, and simply apply your points for a discount on the checkout page using the dropdown menu.
Do my rewards points expire?
Points expire after 2 years of inactivity.
What about referrals?
Yes, referrals earn rewards for the referrer & their friend. See rules on the rewards page.
Product & Manufacturing
Where is the clothing made?
All of our collections are designed in New York City. We leverage factories domestically and abroad based on expertise. About half of our pieces are made in New York's Garment District, with product also coming from Portugal, China, Morocco, and Peru.
Where do you source fabrics?
Similarly, we source fabrics from several countries based on quality, including Italy, China, Japan, Peru, Turkey, and Portugal.
What do I do if something I like is out of stock?
If a size or style is coming back, you'll see an option to join the waitlist or preorder it on the product page. If not, keep browsing!
Fit & Sizing
How does Argent fit? What size should I get?
We obsess over fit and spend the vast majority of our time making sure that the clothes move well and flatter practically any figure. Most everything in our assortment runs true to size, but every product page will indicate that garment’s specific fit. Keep in mind that some pieces are intended to fit slim or oversized, which we will also call out on the product pages. And, of course, should you have any questions just contact us.
Do you offer extended sizes?
Our standard numeric sizes are 0-14, with alpha being XS-XL. In select styles we offer up to 20 or 2XL. Note that some #VotingSuitsYou styles is offered in 0-24.
Do you have anywhere I can try things on?
Visit us at one of our stores, or book a complimentary styling appointment with one of our expert stylists. We also bring Argent around the country via popups and trunk shows, so sign up for our newsletter to stay in the know.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
For standard orders, we accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase. We charge a $10 fee for return shipping if you request a label from us. You may also ship via your preferred carrier or bring into one of our stores for no additional fee. Product(s) must be unworn and unwashed, original hangtags must be attached, and proof of payment must accompany each product. Head to our returns page to start the process.
What does ‘Final Sale’ mean?
Items marked ‘Final Sale’ and are not eligible for return, exchange, or credit. For questions, please contact us.
How do I exchange a gift?
Two options: 1) we can send you an exchange item; or 2) we can provide a gift card for the original amount paid. Exchanges are sent out as soon as the original item arrives to us. Head over to our returns page to get started.
How long does a refund or exchange take to process?
It takes about 1-2 weeks to process your refund. You’ll receive an email when we've received the item(s) and processed the refund.
What if my items are damaged or incorrect?
If you’ve received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us with details and we’ll make it right at no cost to you.
Can I return online orders in store?
Yes. Find an Argent store.
Gift Cards
Do you offer gift cards or certificates?
We do. Head to our Gift Card page.
Can I return a gift card?
No, gift cards are final sale. They cannot be returned or redeemed for cash.
Does my gift card expire?
No, gift cards do not expire.
Where can I use my gift card?
Gift cards can be used online at argentwork.com and in-person at any Argent store. Not sure what to buy? Book a complimentary 1:1 styling appointment at one of our stores and we’ll help with that.
What if I lose my gift card?
We are unable to replace lost or stolen gift cards.

Who founded Argent?
Argent's founder is Sali Christeson. After working in the finance and technology industries for nearly 10 years, Sali became frustrated by the lack of quality, stylish clothing options for working women. So, she started her own company. She has an MBA from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Business Administration from Furman University. More about Sali on our About page.
Where does the name Argent come from?
Sali's great grandfather founded a lumber mill in South Carolina 1916 called Argent Lumber Company. Sali used "Argent" to pay homage to his legacy and entrepreneurial spirit.
